Try Neon Eye Shadow Trend!

I guess, after seeing the best dressed celebs around in the Neons, you must be excited to take over these trending colors.....If you feel you can't wear any neon clothes, but you are really into it, why not try the neon eye
shadow make up.

Taking clues from a brighter color palette, the runways of the season were filled with the shades of fuchsia, aquamarine, orange, and lime green.

Must Remember:
When going neon, the trick is to emphasize one feature while keeping the rest of the face relatively simple. If you chose to go all out on the eye makeup, keep lips and cheeks soft in shades of peach, pink or nude. While contrasting shades on lips, cheeks, or eyes can be both fun and dramatic. If you choose to go with a bright eye, work with three to four shades in the same color family, beginning with the lightest shade on the inner corner of the eye, and working your way outward with each successive, darker shade. Keep lips, eyes, and cheeks in the same color family to avoid color overload, or clashing.

For neon eyes, the texture of the shadows used will always determine the impact that the look has overall. For the lightest of applications, opt for mineral shades, which will not only sparkle and shine, but also provide the lightest of washes. For more of a pronounced neon effect, reach for matte shades, which will apply true to color, and appear bright.
As with the eyes, neon lips can be worn either understated, or bold. For a softer neon wash, opt for the season’s neon, jelly-like glosses, in high-shine shades of coral, orange, and hot pink. If bold statement is what you seek, opt for satin or matte lip shades, which will not only stay bright, but also remain flat and matte all day.

So get set and try these cool colors now....

Bold EyeShadow....

Style is eternal, its individual and personal. It reflects your ideas, thoughts and personality. If you can dare to be bold and different then try this bold eye shadow make up. They can go with any skin type which is the best
part. The electric blue or reddish eye shadow can go with any skin tone. If you want to look unique or you feel your eyes are not so attractive, then this is just right for you. Here is the step by step guide to put this eye shadow....

1. Start by prepping the eye with an eye primer.  You may opt to use a cream shadow as a base, however, keep in mind that if your base has shimmer it will show through your eye
shadow or you can you a white base.

2. Use a tapered shadow brush to pack color onto the center of the lip. Focusing on the center will give just the right pop without being overwhelming.  Do not sweep on the color; simply pat the color on to the lid softly.

3. Once the color is on the lid, use that same brush to diffuse it and eliminate the any harsh edges.

4. To give this eye makeup extra oomph, line the lower lash line using a small smudge brush. Finish by applying a coat of mascara to the top and bottom lashes.

For lower eyelid, you can use another complimenting color or the same color as well.  Turquoise, electric blue and peacock green are my personal favorite, I have cooler skin tone. But they go well with all skin tones. So, Girls, try this make up for a date night or a dinner..... Compliment it with nude or red lips.

Gwen Stefani's L'Oreal Ad & Reviews of L'Oreal's New Infallible Le Rouge 10 hr Lip Color

I recently brought the "Infallible Le Rouge" in the same crimson color, it was sticky initially but when you blot it with tissue its really long lasting. I think I liked it, the average rating is 3,the best part is it does not dries your lips, even if you don't apply lip balm. It does not has any smell. Here are a few reviews I read online:

Source :makeupalley

Review 1
"These are amazing. They are very comfortable, long lasting, pigmented and dont dry out your lips at all. They don't taste like anything (boyfriend friendly) and have almost no smell either. They are just amazing, I've bought like 4 so far. I love that they are on the matte side, since I hate the look of lipgloss.Tender Berry its an amazing natural nudish color that comes out as a very natural medium/light pink on my NW35 (liquid) or NC43 (powder) Olive skin tone. LOVE. I also have Bold Bordeaux, also an amazing shade for Olive skin tones, but its too dark for my small lips :( Also have Everlasting plum but its also too dark for my small lips, but it makes a beautiful cheek stain. Bold bordeaux looks bright and gorgeous on the cheeks as well, and the formula is on the matte side so it looks very nice. Will repurchase a couple more."

Review 2:
"The formula for this seems OK. I got it in #130, Enduring Berry which has the most garish golden frost to it that makes my lips look AWFUL. Even after using a two phase makeup remover some of the sparkle remains. The colour looks nice in the tube but OMG the frosty sparkle takes over. Make sure you can return this if you purchase it. I'm throwing it away after trying to wear it out of the house for over two weeks."

How to apply Foundation, Blush and Contour Technique Tutorial.

Now, that we know how to chose our foundation, we must learn how to apply it in a right way.We must get rid of the dead skin first of all, use a daily scrub and gently massage in the directed area then wash your face.If your skin is dry, use moisturizer first, and let it be absorbed using your fingers in circular motion gently on your face.

If you have an oily skin use an oil free moisturizer in the same way. Now apply a thin film of primer which is a must to give a fine finish to your skin in the same way.Don't forget to cover your ears, neck, eye lids and lips(lipstick will stay longer on lips ). Now take the foundation and and spread it evenly on your palms by rubbing them together and apply it gently with your palms on your face evenly, in long strokes. Use your hands to even out the foundation.

Perfect finish on coolerskin tone.
Perfect finish on warmer skin tone.
Don't try to fill in those areas with makeup.Once you've dipped your brush or sponge into powder foundation, immediately tap it to get rid of excess particles that give that overly dusted look. Also, if you have peach fuzz (as many women do), sweep the powder in the direction that the hair grows, not against it. Going against the follicles inadvertently fluffs up those hairs, creating a little cushion for the powder to settle on. Check your foundation shade against your jawline.Use your fingers to apply liquid and cream foundations, because the heat generated helps to warm up the pigment, making it easy to blend.Use a sponge if you want a sheer look; it absorbs a lot of the foundation, taking down its intensity. But since you'll go through your foundation much quicker, apply with a sponge only on days you want minimal coverage. Lightly press it into the skin in a blotting motion. (Sweeping the sponge across your face will create streaking.) If you want a dewier look, dampen the sponge with water before dipping it into the foundation.Use a brush for depositing the pigment most evenly.

For liquid foundation, choose a tapered synthetic brush with a tip about one and a half inches long. (The tapered tip allows you to get into the areas around your nose and under your eyes, and the synthetic bristles don't absorb too much product.) Tap the end of the brush into the foundation and "paint" it across your forehead, down your nose, across your cheekbones, and on your chin. In sweeping motions, blend the pigment into the skin until it's invisible. For powder foundations, use a thick, fluffy brush—it imparts a soft, seamless finish, Mercier says. Choose one made of natural bristles; they're porous, so they grip the powder, preventing you from depositing too much. In a circular, buffing motion, swirl the brush against your face, starting from the center. Hence you get a perfect foundation finish just being at home.
Not to forget the miracle face lifter and thinning techique, using contours.
True, contouring can help create beautiful planes in your face, but leave that for the evening because if you do this during the day, it can make you look very made up. This is because the blending won’t be thorough enough to be invisible.
Before you actually contour your face, it is necessary that you know your face shape. Once you know this, you can contour and highlight your face to balance your face shape. Since each face shape is individual, you need to use contouring to play down your flaws and blemishes. To find out if you need to go in for face contouring, stand under a bright light that’s positioned directly overhead, if possible. Before you stand here, check that you have moisturiser, tinted moisturiser or foundation on your face to give it that particular shine. Look at yourself in the mirror and see how the light falls on your face.
If you find a shadow under your cheekbones, use a contour product here. If you still can’t figure out where to apply the contour product, suck your cheeks in and look in the mirror for the best places to apply it. For best results, use a darker powder than the colour of your skin. Use pressed powder since the number of shades you can darken by should be proportionate to the skill of application.Apply foundation and powder. To apply powder, use a foundation that’s slightly darker than your skin. Blend either the liquid foundation or powder in those areas which had shadows when seen under a bright light.
To slim your face, apply the entire outer perimeter of the cheek. You can also minimize a broad or high forehead, prominent jaw line and nose in this way—just shade in the areas that you want to play down.
If you find that you’ve done too much contouring, counter it by applying more neutral foundation or powder over the top and then add color to tone it down. Do this shaping before you begin applying color.
As a rule, contour powder should be of a neutral color without any red or yellow overtones and, in fact, it should be a few shades darker than your foundation. Actually, using a darker foundation is a good idea as it can be blended far more easily than powder.
Remember to blend in the color very thoroughly—something that needs a lot of practice. So, now that you are armed with know-how about contouring, grab your beauty kit and brighten your face.

1. Take one shade darker foundation and apply on the dark marked region i the given picture.
Contours
2. Take the natural foundation for your skin on the lightly highlighted region.
Now use an angular brush to spread evenly the foundations to a perfect finish.

Choosing Right Lip Color and Lip Gloss!

When I was a teenager and I was new to make up stuff like foundation, eye shadows and lip color and much more, I used to get confused which lip color is best for me. Choosing a right lip color for you is always challenging.  Here are a few quick tips  for beginners as well as the professionals.....

  • According to make up artist Bobi Brown , we should always choose one or two shades darker than our natural lip color.
  • Apply lipstick to one lip and compare, if it is only one or two shade darker than you it will flatter your look.
Picking Right shade of RED:

If you are wearing a red dress, mostly its not best to wear matching lip color. If you have cooler skin tones you should use cherry red undertone of lipstick. If you have olive skin tone, wear a fire engine red color. Warm skin tones should opt for dark red.

Final Decision:

Women with fair skin, look great in lipstick shades such as nudes in a slightly apricot shade, pinks and light corals. Stay away from browns!

Those with a medium skin tone can go a bit darker. You'll look great in roses, mauves and berries. Skip the bright reds and consider a deep burgundy instead.

Deep plum, chocolate or red is fabulous with dark skin.

Make Up:Foundation!

We all have some imperfections in our face which we don't like. The make up techniques and products are advancing now a days, it is a must to know how to correctly use these products on which we spend so much money.
Get the Perfect make up! If you have problems, consult us!
The purpose is to look as beautiful without looking like a clown.

Recently i happened to find a picture of celebrity, with a horrible make up, whom I was unable to recognize.
Doesn't she looks fammiliar? She is Catherine Zeta Jones. How awful a person can look if the makeup is not perfect!!
I know it happened with you too!! But its alright, there are days when we are not at our best! But how to avoid it. How to have a flawless make up done at home without any stylist? Don't worry Fashionistas, we are here to help you, to turn you into a gorgeous princess!!

Great use of foundation, bronzer and blush!
First of all we all need to recognize the skin type we have got, is it oily, normal or dry? If your skin is oily always prefer a matte finish foundation, you don't want to end up looking glossy and oily using a shiny foundation. Then we need to know what are we supposed to use a powder or a cream? If you have a dry skin, use a cream otherwise you should use a oil free cream or powder or both! The best for an oily skin is to use an oil free mousse and then touch up with a powder compact. If you are prone to break outs then use the foundation with sallicylic acid. Don't put a lot of it just an amount necssary to cover the skin imperfections. I have many readers who send us messages that they can't chose the right shade for themselves. You should know what is your skin tone, either skin tone is warm or cool. You can stand in sunlight and then see if your skin has green shade or brown shade, you fall in warm skin tone whereas if your skin tone is golden, pinkish and beige then you fall in cool skin tone.
Foundation shades!
Always use not more than two shades higher or lower than your original skin color, otherwise you will end up looking like an orange zebra or a vampire in the halloween. For cooler skin tones you should use lighter shades and for warmer skin tones should use dark shades. Apply the tester foundation on your inner arm region and see if it blends with your skin perfectly.

Now you can see the difference in using different shades of foundation.
There are so many different finishes in foundations today, so you need to decide what works best for you and your needs before selecting a foundation. This criterion may also be determined by your skin type needs mentioned above.

We can even use Sheer or Natural Finish foundation for those natural beauties and people that do not need much coverage due to smooth, clear, even skin. These foundations are usually in liquid form and are almost the consistency of pure water. The medium Coverage foundations are thicker in consistency and provide some coverage for people with blemishes, discolorations or just uneven skin tones. They go on thicker and can be purchased in liquid form or compact form (like creams, sticks or cream to powder). Matte finish makeup usually has a good bit of coverage to offer.
The Powder Finish are wonderful for those with oily skin or combination skin because they tend to be thicker and the powder helps with shine.
Perfectly chosen foundation blends smoothly with your skin to give a gorgeous look!
